Issue/Introduction

You want to setup your 0365 connection to the new email detector and you need to configure the rule 

Environment

DLP 16.x

Resolution

  1. Select “Rules” in the Exchange Admin center:

          1. Select “Create a new rule”
  2. Set the following Rule Conditions: For the Value you only need to enter the DetectorID found in the DLP Console:
      1. For the Value you only need to enter the DetectorID found in the DLP Console:                                                                              
  3. Select “Next” and Set the following Rule Settings, we will leave this default:                                                                                                    
  4. Select Next and you will see:                                                                                                                                                                                
  5. Select “Finish” and you are now Done:                                                                                                                                                                
  6. On the new page be sure to enable the Rule by select “Disabled” and move the pointer to “Enabled”                                                              

 

Now items should all be setup, go to your lab and login to Outlook and test to insure all items and rules are working.

When you test, email your Broadcom email address from your test outlook account. The email must be to an external email address to your domain
