Issue/Introduction

You want to setup your 0365 connection to the new Email Detector

Environment

DLP 16.x

Resolution

Setting up your 0365 connection to the new Email Detector:

1. Go to: https://admin.microsoft.com
2. Login with your Admin user: ( for example:
   [email protected] )
3. Go to -> Exchange
4. When the Exchange Admin Center opens go to -> Mail Flow
   1. 
5. You will use “Connectors” and “Mail Flow”
6. Let’s start with the Connectors
7. One the Connectors Screen choose “Add Connector” and you will set the following items:
   1. 
8. Select “Next” and enter a name “DLP Forward Mode” and select Next, you will now see:
   1. 
9. Select “Next” and choose “Rout email through these smart hosts” and you will pull the FQDN from your DLP Console detector detail page: Once entered be sure to hit “plus” to add the FQDN.

10. Select “Next” and set the following on Security restrictions: You will need your FQDN here as well
    1. 
11. Select “Next” and set the following for the Validation email:
    1. 
       
       1. You will see a failure, this is expected: When you hit “Next” It will ask “are you sure…” Yes, we are.
       2. 
12. Now you will select “Create Connector” On the New Page:
