SSH Credentials are not Valid

Issue/Introduction

While trying to discover a Cisco ISR4331 Integrated Services Router, getting the following error message.

DeviceObj::testAccountCredentials  !!! SSH Credentials are not Valid

Have verified via ssh command that the credentials used are valid.

Environment

NCM 10.1.x

Cause

fips is enabled on the Cisco ISR4331 Integrated Services Router

Resolution

Disable fips:

• On the device, enter global configuration mode:
  

  configure terminal

• Verify the fips status:
  

  show crypto entropy status

• Disabled fips with the following command:
  

  no platform ipsec fips-mode

• Restart the device and verify that fips is no longer enabled:
  

  show crypto entropy status
