Issue/Introduction

How to install SOI 4.3 without losing data in the Database?

Resolution

SOI 4.3 Installation steps:

1- Stop all existing SOI services 
2- Take backup of SOI Install directories or snapshot the server.
3- either Uninstall all SOI components 
    or turn off existing installation machines and Get new machines with same IP and configuration 
4- Start Installing SOI 4.3 
5- Select existing DB(4.2 CU5 db) 

6- Start the SOI services.
