Issue/Introduction

CloudHealth AWS Savings Plan recommendation tool is significantly different from the AWS Savings Plan recommendation tool from the Cost Explorer.

Resolution

The difference is mainly because EDP is not supported in Savings Plan Recommendations report. The report only uses AWS list prices, so all EDP discounting will be lost when using the Savings Plan Recommendation tool.
