Issue/Introduction

  • After successfully converted a Linux machine with a filesystem xfs with option ftype=1, the destination Virtual Machine has a filesystem xfs with option ftype=0.

Environment

VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 6.6

Cause

At this time, xfs ftype=1 is not supported by VMware vCenter Converter Standalone 

Resolution


  • Currently, there is no resolution.
  • xfs ftype=1 will be supported in a VMware vCenter Converter Standalone future release.
