"Error occurred while fetching trusted root certificates:" displayed on vSphere Client's Certificate Management Console

Issue/Introduction

On vSphere Client's Certificate Management Console, "Error occurred while fetching trusted root certificates:" displayed and cannot operate.

Following error is seen in certificatemanagement-runtime.log.stderr log file of :

May 13, 2021 3:17:43 PM org.apache.coyote.AbstractProtocol$ConnectionHandler process SEVERE: Failed to complete processing of a request java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Compressed class space

Cause

certificatemanagement service runs out of memory and doesn't work properly.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in vCenter Server 7.0 U3.
Also, restarting certificatemanagement service will temporarily resolve the problem.
