Issue/Introduction

When updating the UI Themes to customize Clarity and login screens in Clarity, the change works for Classic but not for MUX. How can we customize MUX display/view with the theme and update the css for it to match?

Environment

All Supported Clarity Releases

Resolution

  • This is expected behavior.
  • The UI themes will only work for Classic UX.
  • To customize MUX display, go to MUX – Administration – System Settings
  • In Theme Colors you should be able to setup your custom color coding
  • Set Background Color to a custom color. Background color will appear in left navigation and login screen.
  • Set Foreground Color - this color will affect the icons and text in the left navigation menu
  • You can also set a popup message upon login in Login Message.
  • Everything else in MUX display is controlled by Broadcom and no customization is allowed due to legal requirements for Accessibility purposes.
