Issue/Introduction

There may be situations where Virtual Machine RI Optimizer data not available for both 1Yr and 3Yr term despite recommendations under "Commitment Discounts" appearing.

 

Resolution

Azure Commitment Discounts and Virtual Machine RI Optimizer are not pulled via the same Azure API which can lead to "Shared Subscription" Reservation Scope not providing results.

To resolve this, switch the Reservation Scope to to "Single Subscription" and recommendations will appear:
