Unable to promote EXCUSRPGM from Dev to Prod

Issue/Introduction

Whenever we checkout  EXCUSRPGM (CLP program) and added them to a promotion request, and those CLP programs aren't getting compiled in the target environment.

Environment

CA 2E 8.7 and higher, PTC Implementer 12.4 and higher

Resolution

Change the environment(CHGENV) setting the "User Source and user program promotion method" to 1

And then promote again.

Note:

option 1= Dependent means EXCUSRPGM/EXCUSRSRC must be checked out to promote the underlying implementation object while option 2 =Independent gives the admin the option to exclude those objects from promotion.
