Telegraf agent failed to install - "Client received SOAP Fault from server." error

Issue/Introduction

When trying to install Telegraf agent on Windows VM on the Aria Operations UI, the installation failed with an the following error.  The same error is also recorded in the Cloud Proxy UCP adapter:

"An error occurred while trying to verify login with Non Interactive Credentials for VM: vm-xxxx. Client received SOAP Fault from server."

Cause

The issue is caused by an incorrect password on the Service Discovery adapter.

Resolution

The fix is to update the Window's default password.

• Expand the vCenter adapter.
• Edit the Service Discovery adapter.
• Update the "Windows default password" with the correct password.
• Perform a "Test Validate" to ensure everything is validated.

Once the password is updated and validated, the Telegraf Agent is successfully installed via the UI.
