SDDC Manager UI - domain info does not load without a manual refresh of the page.

Issue/Introduction

 

Clicking on workload domains is stuck on loading until a manual refresh of the browser resolves it temporarily.

 

Environment

Issue seen in VCF 4.5

 

Cause

  "connect to an online depot" is in a loading state in the onboarding page.

 

 

Resolution

To access the onboarding page, click on dashboard. Or if youve dismissed the onboarding page setup. This can be found in a menu beside the logged in username in the SDDC Manager UI. Click on the ? and guided setup.

In the onboarding setup - enter all the details as requested in the wizard/setup page. Especially for entering in the depot credentials. 

 

Once you have a green tick on the depot settings for the wizard and refreshed the page. The workload domains page now loads without a manual refresh.
