Issue/Introduction

Is data in transit properly encrypted by Dynamic Capacity Intelligence (DCI) with non vulnerable algorithms (e.g. AES256,TLS, SSH)?

Environment

Dynamic Capacity Intelligence 2.0

Resolution

DCI does not encrypt data directly but all internal data transfer between Agents (or ISPF clients) and DCI Controller on TCP/IP can be encrypted with AT-TLS (if configured).
See Set Up TLS-SSL Security page on DCI documentation.

For the Web UI, the IBM supplied web server can be configured to support https as required by company policies.
