File System IW data source query failures using XLSX and XLS files

Issue/Introduction

The following error is thrown when attempting to create a data source query from an XLSX file for a File System IW data source:

Your request failed. Click 'OK' to close this window or 'Refresh' to refresh the page.
Try again or contact the site administrator.
Status: 500
StatusText: Internal Server Error
Error: Supplied query returned no data. Table not created.

Error ID: <ID>

The data source query is saved, however.

This can occur with any XLSX file, regardless of the number of columns or rows and regardless of the content.

Note that the Test Query feature in the Integration Wizard (IW) successfully returns results from all XLSX files; it's only when attempting to save the data source query that this error is thrown; however, if attempting to use an XLS file, the Test Query feature may return the following error:

Error: File contains corrupted data.

Cause

Unknown at this time.

Resolution

Convert affected XLSX and XLS files to CSV format.

This issue will be addressed in a future release of Information Centric Analytics (ICA).
