Is each VSAM UAMS record equivalent to one SOLVE (or NetMaster) userID definition?

 

 

Resolution

Yes, the VSAM UAMS record count indicates the number of userIDs that have logged on to the region(s), or who have been added in preparation for logging on.

This also includes the background userIDs. The UAMS is only used for user records.
