The SQL agent is failing to start: Password is not ASCII

Issue/Introduction

The SQL agent does not start with the error message below in the agent's log.

 java.security.spec.InvalidKeySpecException: Password is not ASCII

Environment

Product:  CA Automic Workload Automation - Automation Engine v21.x, SQL Agent v21.x

Cause

Incorrect or corrupted certificate password defined in the *.ini file of the agent.

Resolution

Please follow the steps below.

-Make a backup of the agent's ini file

-Re-enter the certificate password in the parameter below
 keyPassword=
 
-Restart the agent
