Issue/Introduction

  • Edge node reports the eth0 link down alert
  • Even after resolving the alert resurfaces again
  • No logs captured related to the alert
  • Verify the Operstate file status

Environment

VMware NSX-T

Cause

This is a false alarm.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, restart the below services on the NSX Edge node.

/etc/init.d/nsx-netopa restart
/etc/init.d/nsx-sha restart

Once the services are restarted, manually resolve the alarm in the NSX manager UI.
