NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP

Issue/Introduction

Looking at the /ENCSUM by Local Port output shows active connections but no specific counts under the TLS section.
Port 923 is an encrypted only TN3270 server. So why in there no data in the TLS section counts?

Example:

Resolution

Verify that PTF LU11864 is applied.

Verify whether the NMSSI is configured to use zERT Detail records.

The online help screen (PF1) for the /ENCSUM screen states

The Encryption Summary by Task list displays the
zERT-sourced counts of all connections, in all states,
that the packet analyzer recognizes as using SSL, TLS,
IPSec or SSH for a selected system or stack.

When ZERTDETAIL SMF collection is not enabled use
/SECURE.S.
