Issue/Introduction

When running a precheck on the SDDC, following an upgrade from VCF 4.5.2 to 5.2.0, generates a warning related to the upgrade policy configured for ESX hosts

On the SDDC UI - this precheck warning is presented -

  • Error Description - Failure Action Name upgrade policy configured for cluster cluster_name on vCenter does not match default SDDC Manager ESXi upgrade policy. It has value Retry in vCenter, and default value FailTask in SDDC Manager
  • Impact - Medium: May perform upgrade without addressing this issue
  • Remediation - Review and apply the desired upgrade policy options from the "Upgrade Options" page during "ESX Configure Update"

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2.0
