HCX-NE appliances are not sending logs to syslog server

Issue/Introduction

• Running on HCX 4.10 for both the HCX manager and fleet appliances 
• You are not receiving logs from the HCX-NE appliances on the syslog server despite it been configured 
• When reviewing HCX-NE logs you observed something similar in  /var/log/messages

Environment

VMware HCX 4.10

Cause

HCX manager has iptables rules that do not allow TCP port 5140 which is required 

Resolution

This is a known issue impacting VMware HCX 4.10
