Issue/Introduction

After making a change to the OneClick LDAP Configuration, the changes did not take affect until after restarting tomcat on the OneClick system.

The OneClick LDAP Configuration page has the following in step 3 in the "To configure an external LDAP server for user authentication" section:

"You do not have to restart the {1} server for the changes to take effect."

So a restart was not expected.

Environment

Version: Any
Component: LDAP Integration

Cause

A restart of tomcat is not required when setting the initial LDAP configuration. However, changes to an existing LDAP configuration does require a tomcat restart.

Resolution

When making changes to an existing OneClick LDAP Configuration, a tomcat restart is required for the changes to take affect.
