Updated value is skipped in ConnectALL

Issue/Introduction

A field is updated in the source system and when the automation is run, the activity monitor shows that the update is skipped.

The automation logs show the following entry:
INFO  yyyy-MM-DD HH:mm:ss,SSS [###.###.###.### | AutomationName | AutomationName_############ |  | {Project}][(connectall-flows) thread ####### - Split] com.go2group.connectall.model.transformer.model.api.SearchForIssuesTransformer: Removing the field for update using id <field name>

 

Cause

This is caused when the field is configured to prevent updates

For example, the following screenshot shows the Update option is unchecked in Sync Operations, thereby preventing any updates to this field in Rally from propagating to the Jira side.

 

Resolution

Update the Sync Operations to allow updates on the destination system.

Additional Information

It is possible a similar scenario can be caused if the Create option is not checked and then the item may show skipped during a Create, but would subsequently be updated during an update.
