When to Apply Hold Data

Issue/Introduction

Some fixes, Top Secret for example, have Hold Data specifying another product's fixes. It is not uncommon for Top Secret fixes to have Common Services fixes in Hold Data.  When should the Hold Data fixes be applied?  

Resolution

If Hold Data states to apply any fixes, it is a best practice to apply those fixes at the same time as the fix if possible.
If the Hold Data fixes are not included in the SMPE PRE or COREQ, then the fix will apply without applying the fix(es) in the Hold Data; however, the Hold Data fixes should be applied as soon as possible.
