Unable to select VMs when trying to run the "create snapshot" workflow in vRO

Issue/Introduction

• The issue arises when attempting to run the "create snapshot" workflow in VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator (vRO), but the Virtual Machines (VMs) under the datacenter are not selectable.
  
  

Environment

• VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator 8.x

Cause

• When the vCenter connection is not configured for a shared session, individual user sessions can lead to inconsistencies in resource visibility (e.g., VM selection).

Resolution

• Update the vCenter connection settings in vRO to use a shared session by unchecking the relevant option in the vRO UI and re-run the "create snapshot" workflow.
  
  
• Steps: 

1. Login to the VRO UI.

2. Navigate to the below option :
    
           

3. Update the vCenter connection to use the connection in the shared session by unchecking the option as in the screenshot below :

4. Click Run. 

5. Now run the "create snapshot workflow" and you should be able to select the VM's under the datacenter.
