Issue/Introduction

APM 10.8

Three networks are connected to the POWER Hardware.

A management network, a service network and an NFS network.
Communication between the WebSphere and the APM Enterprise Manager takes place via the wrong network, namely the NFS network. We want to configure the Enterprise Manager so that communication takes place via the management network. 

Resolution

Collector peropties file configured with IP address (introscope.enterprisemanager.ipaddress).  This has a different hostname and dnsname.  You need to configure that hostname in the MOM properties file.

Since you are using a custom start script to start the EM, that is using the default hostname which will return a different DNS hostname.   You need to change that as well as per above.
