Vantage web client startup task failed - Error XBM06: Startup failed.

Issue/Introduction

Upgraded to a newer version of Vantage web client and the started task has the following errors.

http-nio-x.x.x.x-nnnn-exec-9 ERROR c.c.v.g.s.RPCMon:73 - ERROR: RPC failed for the method 'getDatabaseVersion'. THREAD: http-nio-x.x.x.x-nnnn-exec-9                                                                                   

com.ca.vantage.api.VantageException: Error XBM06: Startup failed. An encrypted database cannot be accessed without the correct boot password.

Cause

During the installation of latest Vantage web client, specified the existing database path, but a new password instead of existing database password was chosen.

Resolution

Reinstall the Vantage web client and specify the existing database password during the install.
