Spectrum install on Windows does not launch properly

Issue/Introduction

When you select the Install DX NetOps Spectrum Remote Administration or the Install DX NetOps Spectrum, an Error Launching Application message appears

There was a problem launching the requested operation.

Cause

3rd party application preventing the installer from launching.

Resolution

Either:

1.  Disable any security software that may be preventing the install from executing.  We have seen CrowdStrike and McAfee prevent executables from running.

or

2.  If possible, run the $INSTALL/sdic/nt/sradmin.exe for SRAdmin and the $INSTALL/nt/install.exe for Spectrum.
