Failed to find property catalina.base in ...conf/catalina.properties ERROR after configuring org.apache.tomcat.util.digester.PROPERTY_SOURCE

Issue/Introduction

Nolio Secure Communications shows that the following should be set in catalina.properties:
org.apache.tomcat.util.digester.PROPERTY_SOURCE=com.nolio.tomcat.utils.PropertyDecoder

This results in log entries in nolioserver20-stdout similar to: 
ERROR: Failed to find property "catalina.base" in C:\Program Files\Broadcom\ReleaseAutomationServer/conf/catalina.properties file.
ERROR: Failed to find property "fn:contains(name, searchString)" in C:\Program Files\Broadcom\ReleaseAutomationServer/conf/catalina.properties file.
ERROR: Failed to find property "fn:containsIgnoreCase(name, searchString)" in C:\Program Files\Broadcom\ReleaseAutomationServer/conf/catalina.properties file.

Nolio Release Automation 6.8

Resolution

These specific ERROR messages can be ignored.
The org.apache.tomcat.util.digester.PROPERTY_SOURCE is still needed for configuring Secure Communications.
