Error: Invalid license id: --- when licensing MC application on SSP

Issue/Introduction

Management Center license and images got imported to SSP. When building the app and assigning license the following error prompts:

Cause

MC serial number used to deploy the application SKU MC-V10-250-1Y is part of your WPS license, it is not intended to be used as an application in the SSP device. The serial number used in SSP devices has the number '99' in the middle, such as xxx99xxx and SKU ISG-MC-SUB. 

 

Resolution

Management Center device with the SKU SKU MC-V10-250-1Y will need to be deployed outside the SSP device or new license will be required for the same with the SKU  ISG-MC-SUB.
