Customers and Partners can influence the VMware Cloud Foundation development by creating and voting on feature requests. This document explains how to do this most efficiently. Follow these steps when you want to share a VCF feature request with Broadcom:
Log In to the VCF Feature Requests Portal at https://vcf.ideas.aha.io with your Broadcom Support ID and search using keywords to see If your Idea Is already In the system:
You can sort and filter the result list:
The simplest way to add your vote Is by clicking on "VOTE" on the left next to a feature request and click on "+1":
The preferred way Is to add a proxy vote:
Here you can share your company name and details about the use case on why this feature is useful for your specific situation. This information is kept internal within Broadcom for the developers:
If you cannot find a matching feature request to vote for then you can add your own feature request. Click on "+ ADD NEW IDEA" on the main portal page:

A short and meaningful title for your feature request. Do not enter sensitive information as the title is visible to all users.
Provide a detailed description of why this is useful, the assumptions you make, the behavior you observe currently, and the desired behavior. Be as precise as possible. Do not enter your company name or sensitive information as this text is visible to all users.
Select the category. If you are unsure choose "(unassigned)"
Enter your company name. This is visible to select stakeholders Broadcom-Internally only. It will help us to follow up with the account team working with you.
Select the category of how this missing feature impacts your work.
This Is your safe space. Share any further details for selected Broadcom-Internal stakeholders from product management and Engineering. This will help us prioritize your feature request. Describe the impact this feature would have on your business.
Finally click "ADD IDEA". If you would like to add a proxy vote for another company (If you are a partner for example) select "ADD IDEA AND PROXY VOTE"
After you submit your feature request you can follow up using comments, or contact your Broadcom account team and ask them to check for additional status information for you. In some cases the product management team may get in touch with you to learn more about your use case first hand.
