vCloud Edge Gateway Statistics Metrics Not Visible in Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

This article helps to troubleshoot a common issue where vCloud Edge Gateway Statistics metrics such as

Statistics | Uplink | Data OUT (bytes),

Statistics | Uplink | Data IN (bytes),

Statistics | Uplink | Bandwidth OUT (MBps),

and Statistics | Uplink | Bandwidth IN (MBps) do not appear in Aria Operations, as shown in the screenshot below

Resolution

Follow the below troubleshooting Steps to Resolve the Issue:

1. Verify the interoperability between NSX-T, the VMware vCloud Director, and Aria Operations.
2. Check if the VCD management pack version is compatible with the Aria Operations version ( VMware Interoperability Matrix )
3. Ensure the relevant metrics are enabled at the policy level.
4. Verify that data collection from the NSX-T and VCD adapters is working correctly.
5. Confirm that the NSX-T Adapter Configuration has "Auto Discovery" set to "True".
6. Ensure that NSX-T objects are discovered in Aria Operations.
7. Check the relationship diagram to see if the vCloud Edge Gateway is linked to NSX-T resources.
