Issue/Introduction
On the "Add Directory Data Source" screen, when "Use the following" under 'Administrator Credentials' is selected, what access rights are needed for the specific login user?

SMG all supported version
Resolution
A user account used in the "Add Directory Data Source" page needs to be able to bind to the directory and have Read access to the base DN. It does not need to be a real user account and can be a service account that is able to bind to the directory and query it via LDAP.
