The Avi controller nodes could experience high memory usage when a large-scale GSLB setup is configured.
This could cause synchronization issues between the GSLB sites resulting in inconsistent GS service states across the cluster.
The high memory usage is caused due to a memory leak in these GSLB processes - 'glb_remote_worker.service' and 'glb_local_worker.service'.
The memory balancer fails to stop these GSLB processes when the controller memory threshold is hit.
Fix:
This issue is fixed in the 22.1.7-2p2 patch.
Workaround:
The workaround is to perform a warm reboot on the controller cluster.
Please get in touch with Avi Support for assistance with performing the cluster warm reboot.
