SEPM stops working after an attempt to upgrade to RU8

Issue/Introduction
During the upgrade of SEPM towards Ru8 following error is seen:
After canceled installation and MSCW run, below error is seen:
Environment
SEPM prior Ru8 is upgraded towards Ru8 version.
Resolution
- Remove new installation.
- Install source version
- restore backup on source version
- change db password on source version to be compliant with conditions mention in second error screen
- proceed with upgrade towards Ru8
