Issue/Introduction

OPSMAIN is not able to obtain Subsystem Console.

Cause

SUBSYSDEFAULT Parameter is configured in OPSSPAxx.

Resolution

SUBSYSDEFAULT Parameter needs to be removed from the OPSSPAxx member as instead of subsystem console, Extended or Extra-Extended consoles for OPS/MVS should be used.  Subsystem consoles exist as a pool of available consoles to be allocated by any z/OS subsystem in a Sysplex on a first come first allocated basis, so if another subsystem allocates all or many of this pool of subsystem consoles will be utilised and there may not be enough or any subsystem console available to OPS/MVS.
