Unable to remove a VIP Enterprise Gateway Validation Server from the console

Issue/Introduction

The Validation Server is seen on the Validation tab in the VIP Enterprise Gateway console but cannot be removed. 

Resolution

• Stop the VIP Enterprise Gateway service and the Symantec Validation service (if running).
• Browse to <install path>Symantec\VIP_Enterprise_Gateway\Validation\servers and delete the directory that matches the name of the Validation Server. 
• Restart the VIP Enterprise Gateway service and check the VALIDATION tab to confirm the service is gone.
