Issue/Introduction

“Broadcom is announcing the End of Availability of NSX Intelligence 1.x for new deployments and End of General Support (EoGS) for existing deployments.

Environment

VMware NSX Intelligence 1.0.x, 1.1.x, 1.2.x

Resolution

NSX Intelligence 1.x has reached End of Availability on September 25th, 2024. For existing NSX Intelligence 1.x deployments, VMware recommends uninstalling NSX Intelligence 1.x and installing NSX Application Platform (NAPP) 4.2 to activate NSX Intelligence 4.2. For detailed installation instructions, please refer to the Deploying and Managing the VMware NSX Application Platform guide. Additionally, consult the VMware Interoperability Matrix to ensure compatibility between your NSX version and VMware NSX Application Platform.

Customers are encouraged to utilize VMware NSX 4.2 in conjunction with VMware NSX Application Platform 4.2 and activate NSX Intelligence 4.2. If you are using a version prior to VMware NSX 4.2, it is recommended to first install or upgrade to NSX Application Platform 4.2 before upgrading VMware NSX to version 4.2.
