The Organization accountname dimension in FlexReports is the CloudHealth friendly name for AWS Accounts:
Account Name = CloudHealth friendly name for the account
The Account Name field can be edited in CloudHealth via UI: https://apps.cloudhealthtech.com/aws_accounts
or via API:
1. Get a list of all AWS Accounts that are enabled in the CloudHealth Platform. https://apidocs.cloudhealthtech.com/#account_aws-accounts-in-cloudhealth
2. Update the attributes (ie Account Name) of each AWS Account that is already enabled in the CloudHealth Platform. https://apidocs.cloudhealthtech.com/#account_update-existing-aws-account
If FlexOrgs are used, then the account name assignment or name change will not update the account names in FlexReports. This data in FlexReport is updated only when there are changes in the Organization tab under FlexOrgs accounts. A workaround is that if an account name is assigned or changed, you can edit & save the description in the Organization Tab under FlexOrgs (Setup > Admin > FlexOrg > Organization Tab). This will initiate a process to update all the accounts under that FlexOrg and their names in the FlexReport. This update will likely take a few hours to propagate to the platform UI.
The status of the AWS Account under 'Setup > Accounts > AWS' will not affect the names in FlexReports if FlexOrgs are configured.
