Issue/Introduction

We wants to disable webSphereMQ metrics with APM 10.8 agent. The webSphere java agent reporting webSphereMQ metrics, but we would like to disable that feature. We do not see any MQ related PBD with the agent configuration.

Resolution

Stop Application Server.

save copy of 
/opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/BMOVIL_UAT2/wily/releases/2023.3/extensions/ibm-mq-d778922cxt1-2023.3.0.5
/opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/BMOVIL_UAT2/wily/releases/2023.3/extensions/Extensions.profile
/opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/BMOVIL_UAT2/wily/releases/2023.3/extensions/deploy

Save above files in some other folder.

delete folders:
/opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/BMOVIL_UAT2/wily/releases/2023.3/extensions/ibm-mq-d778922cxt1-2023.3.0.5
/opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/BMOVIL_UAT2/wily/releases/2023.3/extensions/deploy

Modify /opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/BMOVIL_UAT2/wily/releases/2023.3/extensions/Extensions.profile

remove: ibm-mq-d778922cxt1-2023.3.0.5 from the property: introscope.agent.extensions.bundles.load

Start Application Server.
