Issue/Introduction

About the HIPER FIX LU14558, it says the problem is relevant for systems when IBM utility IGVDGNPP is active. 

How can I check to see if my system is using IGVDGNPP?

SYSVIEW 17.0 - z/OS supported releases - 

Resolution

This utility can be find in 'SYS1.LINKLIB(IGVDGNPP)'. 

If this utility is defined in your LINKLIB, so everytime LINKLIST is loaded this module is also loaded so this utility is definitely used by z/OS.

But regarding FIX LU14558, you will surely need to apply it as this PTF corrects ERROR holds for the fixes published in 2022 July,29.
