This article represents how to add Active Directory authentication in Aria Operations.

  1. Login to Aria Operations and go to Control Panel > Authentication Sources> Add ,select source type as Active Directory
  2. Choose the display name ,integration mode , select the domain and enter user name and password.

  3. After adding Active Directory account, you need to provide permissions.
  4. We will first import the user from active directory, go to Control Panel > Access Control > Click on the 3 dots next to Add import from source. Search for the user , then select the user and click next.

  5. On the next screen click finish.

  6. Now we need to select a role and scope for the added AD user.
  7. For that we will select the user under user account and click edit.

  8. Now we provide the required role and scope for the user, below is an example.

  9. Click on save.
  10. You would now get Active Directory option at login page and would be able to login with domain account.
