Issue/Introduction

When exporting data to CSV from the Audit page in Clarity Modern UX (MUX), additional characters “en:” are appended to the column headers in the exported file. Specifically, fields such as Project Name and Project ID are prefixed with “en:”, resulting in incorrect header values in line 1 of the CSV file.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate to Clarity MUX.
  2. Go to Administrator → Audit.
  3. Perform an Export to CSV action.
  4. Open the exported CSV file and review the header row (line 1).

Expected Result: The exported CSV file headers should display correctly without any appended or prefixed “en:” characters.

Actual Result: The exported CSV file headers have “en:” appended/prefixed to values (e.g., en Name, en ID).

Environment

Clarity 16.4.1, 16.4.2

Cause

DE200939

The issue appears to have been caused by outdated cached metadata, which resulted in incorrect labels being displayed in the exported CSV headers (for example, values prefixed with “en:”). This is not related to language settings or translation configuration.

Resolution

DE200939, in review by Engineering

Workaround: The audit metadata configuration is maintained within the application files and cached at the JVM level. In this case, the cached information was not refreshed correctly, resulting in incorrect CSV header labels. Restarting the application pipeline/services refreshed the metadata cache and resolved the issue. Future metadata updates may similarly require a refresh or restart to be properly reflected.
