HCX migration is failing at validation section with error "Selected service mesh is not associated with the provided target placement details and services"

Issue/Introduction

When customer tries to migrate the VM to destination using any Migration profile and validates , we get this error "Selected service mesh is not associated with the provided target placement details and services"

Even if they select the Service mesh manually it still fails when validation is performed.

Environment

Cause

As the error suggests there is an issue where resources were selected that are not mapped in the Compute Profile.

Either at HCX connector or HCX cloud ,  compute profile will not be selected with proper cluster/storage/network resources.

Resolution

We need to make sure the Migration source is mapped correctly as well as the target destination cluster/storage/resources.
