Issue/Introduction

Dragging a file across an open page in the Edge browser, it triggers an incident and the user receives the pop-up, if configured.
That file is not dropped onto the page, tab, or URL line, it is merely dragged across the body or tab of the page.
The incident will show the URL of the open page.
If the open page is the home page and does not have a URL, the incident will show "unknown URL".

This does not happen with Chrome or Firefox.

Environment

15.8 and earlier

Cause

The Edge Win32 drag and drop hook will hook into any file that is dragged across the Edge browser.
Chrome and Firefox use a different method of hooking and are not affected.

Resolution

In 16.0, the Edge drag and drop hook method was updated to be more like the Chrome extension and thus this issue is not reproducible in Edge with 16.x.
Upgrade to 16.0 or later to resolve this issue.
