Cannot delete organization VDC network from Tenant when using NSX

Issue/Introduction

Attempting to remove a Network from a Tenant results in the the following error:

[ error id ] Cannot delete organization <VDC network name> (urn:uuid:############################)

Cannot detach organization  <VDC network name> (############################) from edge <NSX-Edge>

I/O error on GET request for "NSX-Edge": PKIX path validation failed: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: validity check failed; nested exception is javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: PKIX path validation failed: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: validity check failed

Cause

From VCD's point of view, VCD is encountering an issue when trying to reach the NSX edge and the cert of the NSX edge is a component of the failure.

Resolution

In order to resolve this check for any cert issues or cert expiry on the NSX edge

Fix or renew the cert and reconnect to VCD.
