VCO Diagnostic Bundle timeout when Edges under heavy load

Issue/Introduction

On heavily loaded systems, such as those with full tunnel capacity or high overall usage, uploading diagnostic bundles can take significantly longer than usual. When the Edge is loaded, the Commands would take longer to be executed leading to delay in uploading the bundle to the VCO.

 

Environment

All VMware velocloud Sdwan edge appliance

Resolution

In Customer / Partner managed VCOs, the VCO parameter diagnosticBundles.markFailedTimeoutSeconds value to 1800 (from the default of 900) to increase the timeout value. Also, please review the specifications and confirm that the Edge is functioning with in the load supported by the hardware (Throughput, No of tunnels, Flows etc).
