Issue/Introduction

When sending the ProxySG access log to SpanVA, FTP works but SCP upload has failed.

Cause

As per the ProxySG Uploading Access logs from a ProxySG Appliance to SCP client KB, you need to configured hosts, client keys, HMACs before establishing an SCP client.

Resolution

  • If you are experiencing issue using the directly upload method to CloudSOC Audit SCP datasource, please refer to this KB instead Configure ProxySG to upload access logs directly to a datasource in Cloudsoc Audit.
  • Please refer to the above KB if you are trying to configure the known host from ProxySG.
  • If you are using Management Center, Go to Netwok, Configuration, from the Known Hosts section, click on Add Host.
  • After enter the IP, click on Fetch, it should be able to retrive the key value, you can then click Add
