On DLP setups that were upgraded to 16.0 or 16.1, scheduled scans are not getting executed as per the schedule for some of the Discover targets. Unhandled exception is seen for Discover scan jobs.

How to identify if you are seeing this issue?
DLP setup is upgraded to DLP 16.1
The setup has some Discover targets created/ modified in previous DLP versions.
Scheduled scans are not executed according to the schedule for such older targets.
Enforce tomcat logs have SEVERE errors that have keywords like DISCOVER_SCAN_JOB.

Resolution
How to resolve this issue?
Edit those targets, and modify any field (not necessarily related to scan scheduling) to enable the save button and save the targets.
The next scheduled scans will now get executed as per schedule.
