Unable to dismiss some login banner alerts in Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

• Login banner alerts may include messages like:
  • Many out-of-the-box alerts have been deprecated. As a result, you may see alerts with a (DEP) prefix. Deprecated alerts have been replaced by a combination of new alerts and proactive dashboards such as vSphere Daily Check and Live! vSphere Cluster Performance. Deprecated alerts are still enabled in this version for comparison, but they will not be enabled by default in future versions. 
• When these banners are dismissed, they once again return on each login.

Aria Operations 8.18.1

Cause

This is caused by unexpected behavior where closed alerts incorrectly appear on the app level alerts banner.

Resolution

• This issue is resolved in Aria Operations 8.18.3
