Upgrade Aria Operations for Logs from 8.16.1 to 8.18 through Aria Lifecycle Manager 8.18 is not progressing due to compatibility errors

Issue/Introduction

When upgrading Aria Operations for Logs to 8.18 via Aria Lifecycle Manager, you may see the precheck reports against vCenters and ESXi Hosts with the following message:

 

“Version ‘8.0.0.U2’ of vCenter Server ‘your_hostname’ is not valid for product ‘Operations for Logs’ and version ‘8.18.0’
“Version ‘8.0.0.U2’ of ESXi Server ‘your_hostname’ is not valid for product ‘Operations for Logs’ and version ‘8.18.0’

 

Environment

Aria Operations for Logs 8.18.x
Aria Lifecycle Manager 8.18.x

Resolution

Please kindly ignore this message and proceed with the upgrade.
